People love to talk about their achievements & milestones, but actually we all know the best stories stem from when things completely fall apart and go terribly wrong! The gig that was a disaster, the TV show where your part got written out, the holiday where you lost all your baggage and had to go hiking in your flip flops - everyone has a few tales of woe up their sleeve and Chris Arnold is a man who wants to hear as many of them as possible! Hence, The Worst Time Podcast, hosted by Chris and has since featured the likes of IDLES, Goldie Lookin Chain, Laura Lexx, Dane Baptiste, Jordan Gray, Briony May Williams, DJ Yoda, Dub Pistols and loads more.
It only makes sense that Chris takes this show to the live setting, to which he is on the 7th December, and inviting two of Bristol's finest comedians to join him!
Amy Mason is a comedian, writer and theatre maker who performs comedy across the U.K for promoters including Off the Kerb and Little Wander. A Funny Woman finalist, Amy has multiple TV projects in development with production companies, has written and performed two monologues for Radio 4 and has written for The News Quiz and Hypothetical (Dave). She has made 3 acclaimed autobiographical shows with Bristol Old Vic and has a current development commission with the theatre. In 2014 Amy won the Dundee International Book Prize with her novel The Other Ida.
Jeremy Flynn is a Bristol comic who has been performing since 2015. He reached the semi finals of So You Think You’re Funny, a prestigious annual stand-up comedy competition for new acts, soon after entering the world of comedy; and in 2019 was nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year.
First interview will be at 8PM prompt and there will be an interval.
